Tour Championship 2023 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on August 22, 2023

It is time for the Tour Championship 2023! There is still a pretty big golf event coming up in just over a month. The Ryder Cup will be played from September 29 to October 1 in Rome, Italy, pitting the best golfers in America vs. the best golfers in Europe.

This weekend we will crown the best individual golfer in the world for the 2022-2023 PGA Tour season at the Tour Championship. It is the final of three weekends of FedEx Cup Playoffs, with 30 golfers left in the running to win the season title.

Favorites to Win Tour Championship

  • Scottie Scheffler (+130)
  • Rory McIlroy (+330)
  • Viktor Hovland (+500)
  • Jon Rahm (+800)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1600)
  • Xander Schauffele (+2800)
  • Max Homa (+2800)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick (+4000)
  • Lucas Glover (+4000)
  • Wyndham Clark (+5000)
  • Brian Harman (+5000)

If it looks like there is a big drop after the top four golfers, it’s because there is. And it’s because the scores on Thursday begin with an advantage for the golfers who are leading the FedEx Cup standings. Here is the field of 30 and their corresponding starting score.

Tour Championship 2023 Betting Preview

  • 10 Under: Scottie Scheffler
  • Eight Under: Viktor Hovland
  • Seven Under: Rory McIlroy
  • Six Under: Jon Rahm
  • Five Under: Lucas Glover
  • Four Under: Max Homa, Patrick Cantlay, Brian Harman, Wyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatrick
  • Three Under: Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele
  • Two Under: Tom Kim, Sungjae Im, Tony Finau, Corey Conners, Si Woo Kim
  • One Under: Taylor Moore, Nick Taylor, Adam Schenk, Collin Morikawa, Jason Day
  • Even Par: Sam Burns, Emiliano Grillo, Tyrrell Hatton, Jordan Spieth, Sepp Straka

The Redemption of Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler is the No. 1 ranked golfer in the world, he leads the FedEx Cup standings, and he will tee off on Thursday at the Tour Championship with a two-stroke lead on Viktor Hovland and a six-stroke lead on 24 of the 29 other golfers in the field.

Without question, Scheffler is in the spot that everyone wishes for themselves.

But we should remember what happened at the Tour Championship last year. Scheffler went into the first round with a two-shot lead, and he was up by six strokes after Saturday. But in one of the most historic collapses in golf history, Scheffler shot a final round three-over 73 and lost the FedEx Cup to Rory McIlroy.

In disbelief after the loss, Scheffler said;

“For whatever reason, my swing wasn’t where it had been the first few days this week.”

He found his swing again, and he is the favorite to win his second straight PGA Tour Player of the Year. But what he really wants is the FedEx Cup that he allowed to slip away 12 months ago.

Scottish Open 2023 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on July 11, 2023

The Scottish Open 2023 is finally here! Last week’s John Deere Classic was missing most of the stars on the PGA Tour. This week at the Barbasol Championship, there is almost no one of any note playing.

That’s because the best players in the world have already made their move over to the UK. They are either prepping for The Open Championship in around Liverpool, or they are in Scotland, acclimating to the weather and links golf by playing in the Scottish Open.

Odds to Win the Scottish Open

  • Scottie Scheffler (+650)
  • Rory McIlroy (+900)
  • Xander Schauffele (+1400)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1400)
  • Viktor Hovland (+1800)
  • Tyrrell Hatton (+1800)
  • Tommy Fleetwood (+2000)
  • Rickie Fowler (+2000)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick (+2500)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2500)

Missing from this list of favorites is Jon Rahm, as he gets ready for The Open on his own and away from this star-studded field. He is one of two top-10 golfers in the world that isn’t playing at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, located about 20 miles outside of Edinburgh.

Scottie Scheffler is here, and he is the favorite. He missed the cut at the Scottish Open last year, although he was terrific here in 2021. Looking ahead to next week, he is only the second betting favorite for The Open.

That’s because next week’s favorite is Rory McIlroy, the No. 2 betting favorite in Scotland. McIlroy has played here in two of the last three years, with only a 34th-place finish to show for it.

Scottish Open 2023 Betting Preview

But he’s playing with confidence, and next week he will be playing in The Open at the same place he won in 2014. Consequently, that was the last time he won one of golf’s majors.

Xander Schauffele is an obvious third betting favorite, if not deserving of even higher. He won this tournament last year by shooting the low round of the day on both Friday and Saturday. He also has top-10 finishes at the Masters and U.S. Open this year, and he’s coming off a -14 at the Travelers Championship.

Next week at The Open, he’s tied for sixth on the betting board at +2000.

Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick is also worth your time. He started off his season of majors with a T10 at the Masters and just recently had a T17 at the U.S. Open. But why you should like him is how he has done specifically in this event.

He was T6 here last year, T2 in 2021, and T14 in 2019. He knows this course, and he excels in the bad weather that usually comes with playing in this part of the world.

We’ve got the Scottish Open this week, along with Wimbledon and the return of baseball from break. Next week we’re at Royal Liverpool for The Open, and then on to the Women’s World Cup, football, and more.

U.S. Open 2023 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on June 12, 2023

It is time for the U.S. Open 2023!

After the last two weeks, golf needs to catch its collective breath. We’ve had the “merger” between the PGA and LIV, although PGA commissioner Jay Monahan insists that it is not a merger. It just looks and acts like one.

Then Nick Taylor just dropped a 72-foot eagle putt in a playoff at the Canadian Open to become the first home-country hero to win that event in 69 years.

But there is no time to rest and no time to breathe, as it is U.S. Open week, with the venerable Los Angeles Country Club hosting its first professional golf tournament since the 1940 Los Angeles Open.

Favorites to Win U.S. Open

  • Scottie Scheffler (+700)
  • Jon Rahm (+1000)
  • Brooks Koepka (+1100)
  • Rory McIlroy (+1200)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1600)
  • Viktor Hovland (+1600)
  • Xander Schauffele (+2000)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2800)
  • Max Homa (+2800)
  • Cameron Smith (+3000)

Scottie Scheffler, with 16 straight finishes of T12 or better, is the favorite. He was last year’s Masters winner and the runner-up at the U.S. Open. This year has a win at THE PLAYERS Championship and a runner-up at the PGA Championship. Scheffler also has experience at Los Angeles Country Club, helping to lead the U.S. Walker Cup team to victory in 2017.

The up-and-downness of Jon Rahm may make many bettors shy away from his small +1000 payout. He did win the Masters in April, but he finished T50 at the PGA Championship last month. However, he did win the U.S. Open two years ago, to go along with a T3 in 2019 and a T12 in 2022.

Is there a golfer who has a better month than Brooks Koepka? He won the PGA Championship, his fifth career major title, and then his move to LIV golf was justified by the PGA Tour last week. Now he can have his money, get back into the good graces of the PGA, and perhaps win his third career U.S. Open.

U.S. Open 2023 Betting Preview

Of course, Rory McIlroy is one of the favorites to win the U.S. Open. He’s one of the favorites at every major every year. But it’s worth remembering that his last actual win at a major was in 2014. At age 25, he had four major wins. Now, at age 34, he’s still at four. He’s gone 32 straight major starts without a win, although he did have three top-five finishes in 2022.

Home cooking may be a factor for both Patrick Cantlay and Max Homa. Cantlay is from Long Beach and played his college golf at UCLA, just two miles away from LACC. And Homa, while playing his college golf at Cal, shot a 61 at LACC during the 2013 Pac-12 Championship.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2023 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on April 18, 2023

The individual grind of the PGA Tour takes a break this week with a rare team event on the schedule. The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a mixed-format team tournament with two days of best ball and two days of fourball.

It can be a little bit of a challenge to dial in on which pairs of players will mesh well together for the four days of golf, and that means that, quite often, you can find good value in the wagers that you place.

Favorites to Win Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2023

  • Xander Schauffele/Patrick Cantlay (+300)
  • Collin Morikawa/Max Homa (+650)
  • Sungjae Im/Keith Mitchell (+1100)
  • Si Woo Kim/Tom Kim (+1400)
  • Sam Burns/Billy Horschel (+1800)
  • Kurt Kitayama/Taylor Montgomery (+2200)
  • Sahith Theegala/Justin Suh (+2200)
  • Wyndham Clark/Beau Hossler (+2200)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick/Alex Fitzpatrick (+2800)

Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are the defending champions at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, and they carry the highest world rankings of any of the pairs. Schauffele is fifth in the world, and Cantlay is fourth. The pairing of Collin Morikawa and Max Homa is currently ranked 13th and seventh, respectively.

It is not surprising that those teams are the two favorites and are separated from the rest of the field by a significant amount.

Sungjae Im is ranked 17th in the world, and he is teaming up with 50th-ranked Keith Mitchell. Im just finished seventh at the Heritage, and he teams nicely with Mitchell.

Im is one of the better golfers around the green, while Mitchell is one of the Tour’s better drivers. Both have played at this event before, but this is the first time they have played as a team.

Sam Burns and Billy Horschel also deserve consideration at +1800. In two previous team-ups at this event, they finished second and fourth. They’ve also both won at other Pete Dye-designed courses as individuals. Burns was T15 at the Heritage last week.

Best Value Bets

Davis Riley and Nick Hardy are at +4000, and both played well at this event a year ago. They were working with different teammates then – Riley with Will Zalatoris and Hardy with Curtis Thompson – and the Riley/Zalatoris team finished fourth.

Sam Ryder and Doc Redman are probably two golfers you’ve never wagered but give them a look. They’re paying +5000 because neither has ever won on Tour, and neither player is in the top 100 of the world rankings. But, as a team, they played this event last year, and they finished third.

Ryder has a recent third-place finish at the Valero Texas Open, and Redman was 16th at the Valspar.

Tour Championship 2022 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on August 23, 2022

This season in golf has been anything but normal. And as we close the book on the 2021-2022 season with the Tour Championship and the awarding of the FedEx Cup, change to the Tour is coming.

In response to the golfers who have defected to LIV golf and the Saudi Arabian-backed exhibition tour, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are pushing for a series of one-day skilled events spread throughout the PGA calendar. With the golf world focused this week on East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Tour commissioner Jay Monahan is expected to announce the full details later in the week.

As for the golf that’s being played this week, the 30 golfers with a chance to win the Cup will be seeded using Starting Strokes. In this format, adopted in 2019, the field begins with a score based on where they are in the standings.

Favorites to Win Tour Championship

  • Scottie Scheffler (+250)
  • Partick Cantlay (+400)
  • Xander Schauffele (+700)
  • Rory McIlroy (+1100)
  • Will Zalatoris (+1200)
  • Jon Rahm (+1600)
  • Tony Finau (+1800)
  • Sam Burns (+2200)
  • Cameron Smith (+2500)
  • Justin Thomas (+2800)
  • Sungjae Im (+2800)

As the standings leader heading into this week, Scottie Scheffler begins the Tour Championship at 10-under par. That makes him the obvious favorite to win. It should also be noted that in the three previous times this format was used, twice the winner was the golfer who began the tournament in the first place.

Last year’s winner and the defending FedEx Cup champion, Patrick Cantlay, is one of the two previous top-ranked golfers to win. He begins the Tour Championship in second place after winning the BMW last week. He is the first golfer to ever defend one of the FedEx Cup playoff tournaments, and a win this weekend would make him the first ever to defend the Cup.

Tour Championship

The one time someone other than the first-place golfer won the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup, it was Rory McIlroy who began that tournament in fifth place. He begins this week in a tie for sixth place at -4, so he has six strokes to make up on the leader. If anyone can do it, it’s a two-time FedEx Cup champion.

The champion of The Open, Cameron Smith, sat out the BMW because of a sore hip, and that dropped him three spots in the standings. He begins the Tour Championship at -4, tied with McIlroy, and he is rested and ready to tackle East Lake.

If you’re looking for someone with success on the course at East Lake, Xander Schauffele is your guy. He won here in 2017, and he had a low aggregate score in 2020.

Rocket Mortgage Classic 2022 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on July 26, 2022

After most of the big names of the PGA Tour took last week off to recover from their trip to Scotland, many of them are back on the course this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the Detroit Golf Club.

Last week at the TPC Twin Cities, Tony Finau became just the third betting favorite to win a tournament this year, and he did it with a great comeback in the final round. He trailed by five strokes after 54 holes but ended up winning by four strokes after 72 holes.

Favorite to Win Rocket Mortgage Classic

  • Patrick Cantlay (+1000)
  • Tony Finau (+1400)
  • Will Zalatoris (+1600)
  • Cameron Young (+2000)
  • Max Homa (+2500)
  • Cam Davis (+3300)
  • Keegan Bradley (+3300)
  • Adam Hadwin (+4000)
  • Adam Scott (+4000)
  • Cameron Tringale (+4000)
  • Seven others at (+4000)

Patrick Cantlay sits as the pre-tournament favorite, paying +1000. Since missing the cut at the PGA, he has been on a tear, even if it’s come without a win. He was T3 at the Memorial, T14 at the U.S. Open, T4 at the Scottish Open, and T8 at The Open Championship two weeks ago.

The aforementioned Tony Finau, coming off last week’s win, has a game made for the Detroit Golf Club. He did struggle here in 2020, but his driving accuracy should have him shooting one of the lower numbers for the weekend. To go along with last week’s win, he had a second-place finish at the Canadian Open in June.

And it seems like every week we say that this can be the tournament where Will Zalatoris finally gets his win. Well, wash, rinse, repeat. He has eight top-10s in 2022, he has three runner-ups at major championships, and he’s now ranked 13th in the world. Surely that elusive first win is just around the corner.

Rocket Mortgage Classic

Top Value Plays for Rocket Mortgage Classic

One of the several players at +4000 is Davis Riley, who missed the cut last week in Minnesota but should be in the mix in Michigan. He was fifth at the Mexico Open, T9 at the Byron Nelson, and T4 at the Charles Schwab.

Cameron Champ, at +6000, broke his missed cuts streak with a T16 in Minnesota. He also had a T6 at the Mexico Open and T10 at a little event called the Masters. He’s big off the tee and is a good fit for the course in Detroit, as evidenced by his 12th place finish and final round 66 in 2020.

Pay Per Head Software

After the Rocket Mortgage Classic, there is just one more PGA Tour event before the FedExCup Playoffs begin at the St. Jude Championship. The baseball season is nearing its final third and the heat of pennant race season. The NFL has opened training camps around the league, and we are just a handful of weeks away from preseason NFL football.

The Memorial Tournament 2022 Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on May 31, 2022

Before we get into The Memorial Tournament 2022 betting preview, let’s take a look at what happened the previous week.

Another week and another tournament that needed more than 72 holes before we could name a champion. Scottie Scheffler battled his way down the stretch to force the playoff at Colonial, only to lose to Sam Burns on the first extra hole.

That exciting finish followed the exciting end to the PGA Championship, and it all sets us up for Jack Nicklaus’s tournament at The Memorial this weekend.

It’s not quite the field we had at the PGA, nor what we’ll see at the U.S. Open in a couple of weeks. But this is one of the bigger non-majors of the season, and many of the best golfers are in Ohio at Muirfield Village to tee it up.

Favorites to Win The Memorial

  • Jon Rahm (+1000)
  • Rory McIlroy (+1100)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1600)
  • Xander Schauffele (+1800)
  • Collin Morikawa (+2000)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2000)
  • Cameron Smith (+2200)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick (+2500)
  • Shane Lowry (+2500)
  • Viktor Hovland (+2500)

Flashback to a year ago, and Jon Rahm is almost a certain winner as he mowed through the field through three rounds. Then he tested positive for COVID-19, and by rule, he was forced to withdraw. Patrick Cantlay went on to win at -13, while Rahm had to watch on television sporting his -18 through 54 holes.

Do you think Rahm is ready to get back after this course? You bet he is, and this is why he is one of the top bets to win The Memorial.

Rory McIlroy has yet to put together four great rounds in a row, but the flashes of the old Rory that we’ve seen over the last few weeks makes it seem like that complete tournament win is just around the corner. He has a pair of top-10s at The Memorial, but he has played better here than his final results would indicate.

In his last three tournaments, McIlroy was eighth at the PGA, fifth at the Wells Fargo Championship, and second at the Masters.

The Memorial Tournament 2022 Betting Preview

As mentioned above, Patrick Cantlay is the defending The Memorial Tournament champion here, even if his 2021 tournament win was tainted because of the forced withdrawal of Rahm. But he also won here in 2019, and he shot a -19 that year. There is no asterisk next to that victory.

Yes, he was atrocious at the PGA Championship, missing the cut at +11. But in his two tournaments before that, he was the winner in New Orleans and the runner-up at the RBC Heritage.

The Genesis Invitational Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on February 15, 2022

This stretch of golf to begin the season is always one of the highlights of the season. You get the majesty of Torrey Pines and Pebble Beach along the Pacific coast, the incredible crowds and atmosphere of Scottsdale, and the Phoenix Open, and now this week, we get the Genesis Invitational, which features some of the best golf in the world outside of the four major championships.

This weekend at Riviera all 10 of the world’s top-10 will be on the same course, playing one of the best events of the year. It’s also the first weekend of golf in a post-NFL world, and that makes it even more appealing for sports betting. If you are craving the best at their craft in a full-scale competitive showdown, the Genesis Invitational has you covered.

Favorites to Win the Genesis Invitational

  • Jon Rahm (+900)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1100)
  • Dustin Johnson (+1600)
  • Justin Thomas (+1600)
  • Collin Morikawa (+1800)
  • Cameron Smith (+2000)
  • Rory McIlroy (+2000)
  • Xander Schauffele (+2000)
  • Hideki Matsuyama (+2200)
  • Victor Hovland (+2500)

Jon Rahm is the best player in the world, and he has a pair of top-10 finishes in the last three years at Riviera.

Patrick Cantlay is another obvious choice. He’s played four events in 2022, and he has four top-10 finishes and two top-fives, including a runner-up last week at the Phoenix Open. Cantlay was also a top-five finisher at Riviera in 2019.

Dustin Johnson is second all-time in money won at the Genesis, which includes a victory in 2017 and a pair of second-place finishes in 2014 and 2015. His 2022 started off rough, but a strong finish at the Saudi International last week, coupled with ten total top-10 finishes at Riviera, makes Johnson an appealing play.

Like Johnson, Justin Thomas is paying +1600, and he is also another solid play. He finished fifth at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, eighth at the Phoenix Open, and was a second-place finisher in 2019 at Riviera. He famously had a four-shot lead in that Genesis before closing with a final round 75.

The Genesis Invitational Betting Preview

Other Golfers to Watch

Adam Scott is only paying +4000, and his 38th place finish at the Phoenix Open is a big reason why. But his history at Riviera is why you should ignore what he’s done on other courses. He’s won this event twice, including in 2020, and two other times he finished as the runner-up.

Bubba Watson is another player at +4000 and another former winner at Riviera that is worth a closer look. He won this tournament in 2014, 2016, and 2018, but unlike Adam Scott, Watson is playing good golf currently. He was a runner-up at the Saudi International and finished with four sub-par rounds at the Phoenix Open, finishing tied-for-14th.

Waste Management Phoenix Open Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on February 9, 2022

From the entertainment of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, to the large crowds at the Waste Management Phoenix Open that spend most of the weekend entertaining themselves – that is the portion of the PGA Tour season where we find ourselves.

The field is great, with 18 of the top 30 players in the world making the trip. The cheering will be loud, fueled by an estimated 750,000 servings of beer that will be sold at “The People’s Open,” as it is often called.

And it’s not there yet, but there are plans to build a 12,000-square foot brick-and-mortar sportsbook on the grounds of TPC Scottsdale, funded by the PGA Tour. So if you can’t make it to Arizona this weekend, put it on your bucket list.

Favorites to Win Waste Management Phoenix Open

  • Jon Rahm (+750)
  • Justin Thomas (+1200)
  • Patrick Cantlay (+1400)
  • Hideki Matsuyama (+1600)
  • Viktor Hovland (+1600)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2000)
  • Xander Schauffele (+2500)
  • Daniel Berger (+2500)
  • Scottie Scheffler (+2500)
  • Brooks Koepka (+3300)
  • Sam Burns (+3300)

Jon Rahm is, of course, the favorite to win the tournament as the best player in the world. We say that every week because every week it’s true, and in one of these, probably very soon, he’s actually going to win. He finished second at the Sentry a month ago and finished tied for third two weeks ago at the Farmers.

Jordan Spieth is coming off a crazy weekend on the Monterey Peninsula. He was 11 back of the lead when Saturday teed off, shot a 63 that day, took the lead briefly on Sunday, and eventually finished the tournament as the runner-up.

Last year in Scottsdale, he shot a third round 61, eventually finishing tied for fourth. At +2000, Spieth is worth a look.

It’s also worth giving Brooks Koepka a look. His +3300 is very attractive for a guy who is the defending champion at Scottsdale. He hasn’t had a great start to 2022, missing the cut at the Farmers. But along with his win last year at this event, he also won here in 2015.

Waste Management Phoenix Open Betting Preview

Longer Shots to Consider

Webb Simpson won this tournament in 2020, and he’s paying +4000. Also at +4000 is Seamus Power, who had as much as a five-shot lead at Pebble Beach before finishing in the top-10.

Corey Conners finished 11th at the Sony Open four weeks ago, and he’s paying +5000. He’s also improved in his last two visits to Scottsdale, finishing 45th in 2020 and 17th in 2021.

Keith Mitchell, at +6600, is also an attractive play. He was seventh at the Sony Open, finished tied for 12th at Pebble Beach, and was 16th in Scottsdale in 2020.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Betting Preview

by WagerHome Blog on February 1, 2022

After a year away from one of the most fun weekends on the golf calendar, the fans are back at Pebble Beach because the celebrities are also back.

Bill Murray will, of course, headline the event, but a number of other familiar faces will be Pebble Beach, including actors Don Cheadle, Ray Romano, and Alfonso Ribeiro. Returning celebrity athletes include Steve Young and Larry Fitzgerald, as well as first-time participants Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Mookie Betts of the Dodgers.

As much as some people are happy to have the celebrities, many of the top golfers are not. Being paired with an amateur in the cold and wind of the Monterey Peninsula and the long rounds that come with it have chased most of the top golfers to Dubai. Only one top-10 player, Patrick Cantlay, is in this weekend’s field.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Betting Favorites

  • Patrick Cantlay (+650)
  • Daniel Berger (+1100)
  • Will Zalatoris (+1800)
  • Jason Day (+2000)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2000)
  • Cameron Tringale (+2500)
  • Justin Rose (+2500)
  • Maverick McNealy (+2800)
  • Seamus Power (+2800)
  • Lanto Griffin (+3300)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick (+3300)

As the highest-ranking player in the field, Patrick Cantlay is the natural favorite. He has two top-10 finishes in 2022. He finished third at this event in 2021, 11th in 2020, and had a top-10 finish the very first time he teed up at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2013.

Perhaps no one is more consistently good at the Pro-Am than Jason Day. Paying more than three times what a Cantlay bet pays, Day has eight top-10 finishes at this event, and he’s been in the top-five in five of his last six starts. He also just finished in third last weekend at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Will Zalatoris, paying +1800, was the runner-up at the Farmers at Torrey Pines, losing in a playoff. The week before at The American Express, he finished tied for sixth. He has not done well at the Pro-Am, finishing 55th last year. But his excellent form in January has him deservedly near the top of the favorites board.

Maverick McNealy is paying +2800, and considering how he plays at this event, he might be the steal of the tournament. He was the runner-up here last year and tied for fifth the year before that. McNealy also just played three great rounds at Torrey Pines before struggling over the last 18.

Kevin Streelman is paying +5000, and he’s got three top-fives at this event over the last four years, including a runner-up in 2020. Michael Thompson was a top-five finisher at the Sony Open and was 11th last week at Torrey Pines. He’s paying +6600.
